Quai10 / Banque National de Belgique

Redevelopment of the Banque National de Belgique, in Charleroi. This building was a former bank, designed in the 1960s by architect Marcel Van Goethem. The renewal project was awarded to Brussels based V+ Architects, who transformed the building into Quai10 – Center for Animated and Interactive Images. These photos show the original interior of the bank pre-renovation.

This venue is now a thriving cultural center with four cinema theatres, a brasserie and a space for arts and events.
